Event Details

The largest auditorium in Trinity has reached capacity. We have now added an additional auditorium. A couple of the speakers will also address this auditorium in person, while the remainder of the Summit will be streamed live. All attendees will have full access to all networking events with over 500 entrepreneurs, professionals and media.

Craig Newmark, founder of Craigslist, and Matt Mullenweg, founder of Wordpress, will be the keynote speakers at the Dublin Web Summit in Dublin's Trinity College on Thursday, February 4th, 2010. They will now be joined by Wired's Editor-at-Large, Ben Hammersley, and former Iona CEO, Chris Horn. Newmark & Mullenweg, who are regular keynotes at the world's largest technology conferenceswill be talking about the lessons & direct experiences in scaling their companies, which have had huge impacts on global commerce and communication. As well as providing inspiration for Irish tech start ups.

Chris Horn will reflect on his experience building succesful global companies from Ireland. He will also touch on the broader issue of innovation and Ireland, as well as prospects & opportunities for Irish entrepreneurs over the coming decade.
